Accessibility commitment for MiraScribe under the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act B.E. 2550 (2007, amended B.E. 2556 / 2013)

MiraNext GmbH is committed to making MiraScribe accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act B.E. 2550 (2007, amended 2013) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

1. Legal Framework

Thailand requires digital services to be accessible under the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act B.E. 2550 (2007, amended B.E. 2556/2013) and related ministerial regulations.

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP) oversees enforcement of this legislation.

MiraScribe targets compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced in guidelines issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (formerly the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology), which issued the Thai Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (TWCAG 2010).

2. Accessibility Measures Implemented

MiraScribe implements the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Screen reader support: HTML elements carry appropriate ARIA labels and roles.
  • Keyboard navigation: all functions are operable via keyboard without a mouse.
  • Colour contrast ratio: meets WCAG 2.1 AA criteria (at least 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Alternative text for images: all informative images have descriptive alt text.
  • Scalable text: supports text enlargement to 200% without loss of content.
  • Form labels: every form field has a clearly associated label.

3. Conformance Status

MiraScribe partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. A comprehensive audit is in progress.

Known issues: No formal WCAG 2.1 conformance audit has been carried out to date. Known issues will be published here once that audit is complete.

4. Content Outside Scope

The following content may not fully meet accessibility standards:

  • PDF files or legacy documents created directly by healthcare institutions.
  • Third-party integrations outside the control of MiraNext.
  • No further exceptions are claimed at this time..
