Accessibility Statement

Statement on digital accessibility pursuant to BehiG, BehiV (Switzerland) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA

Letzte Aktualisierung: 13.05.2026

As of 2026-05-13. MiraScribe strives to provide all users with equivalent access to the platform regardless of individual impairments. This statement is guided by the Swiss Disability Discrimination Act (BehiG) and the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (BehiV); the European Accessibility Act does not bind Switzerland. It describes the current conformance status, known limitations and feedback procedures.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the MiraScribe web application at app.mirascribe.ai and to all associated subdomains and onboarding journeys operated by MiraNext GmbH.

2. Conformance Status

MiraScribe is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Key workflows — login, recording start, note editing, template management and settings — are continuously reviewed against the Level AA success criteria and remediated.

3. Non-accessible or Partially Accessible Content

The following areas are currently not accessible or only partially accessible. We are working on incremental remediation:

  • Live transcription views currently do not support screen-reader-specific live regions; full speech-output annotation is in preparation.
  • Individual PDF attachments (e.g. invoices, exported findings) are not consistently structured for accessibility; accessible alternatives are provided on request.
  • Complex editor interactions (drag-and-drop, multi-select) do not yet offer a full keyboard alternative in all cases.
  • Embedded third-party components (e.g. payment widget) are audited separately.

4. Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared on 13 May 2026. It is based on a self-assessment by the product team and on ongoing manual testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard operation.

The next scheduled review will take place by May 2027 at the latest.

5. Feedback and Contact

If you encounter barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

  • Email: support@miranext.ai
  • Response time: usually within 5 working days.

6. Legal Framework and Points of Contact

In Switzerland, the equal treatment of persons with disabilities is governed by the BehiG and the BehiV. Unlike in the EU, there is no regime equivalent to the European Accessibility Act with designated market-surveillance and enforcement bodies for private web offerings.

  • Federal Bureau for the Equality of People with Disabilities (EBGB) — https://www.edi.admin.ch/ebgb.
  • For alleged disadvantages within the scope of the BehiG, the legal remedies provided by the Act are available; the EBGB provides further information.
